What or who is your inspiration?/What interested you in SAR?
My K9 partner's name is Buford, otherwise known as "Big B".  Bloodhounds are a special breed that take a lot of patience and
understanding. I first got involved in SAR work because Buford
really needed a "job" to do. The "hide and seek" games at home were no longer a challenge for him. Once Buford and I got involved with SAR work, we were hooked! Despite training in all kinds of weather conditions, it is the most rewarding way I could ever spend my "spare time"!
