What or who is your inspiration?
Nikki started in SAR 7 years ago when she established Metro Nashville Office of Emergency Management's Volunteer K9 Search & Rescue organization. In 2006, Nikki founded TERRA and left Metro OEM. Since her life revolves around dogs, SAR was a natural avenue for her to take her career.

 

In the community
Nikki has been a Dog Trainer/Behavior Consultant for 12 years. Her clients often refer to her as a “people trainer” though because she transforms their views of their relationship and capabilities with their dogs.

 

My spare time
In Nikki's spare time, she writes fiction based on her SAR experience.

 

Future goals
Her goal is to make TERRA a full-time job offering not only free services of locating missing persons and deceased individuals but would like to have dogs that are also trained in narcotics detection and accelerant detection.
